Sarah is owned by Pam Coflin (Marsh Run) and Monica Broomfield (Tradewinds), who have graciously allowed her to come to live with us.  Sarah came to live with us in late October 2005.  We quickly fell in love with her.  Sarah is a sweet girl that is just innately good, like our Boone.  She became my girl and loves to follow me around room to room with Boone and Garrett.  She loves to go on car rides, and likes to cuddle or rest her head on me when she sleeps.  Sarah is a great housedog.  She is very mellow and immediately got along with all of the other dogs.  She wanted to point our cats, but once she figured out I didn’t like her doing that, she stopped… she always does what is expected of her without much discussion. Sarah even went through an agility class and had fun.

Our intention was to breed Sarah to Garrett. Unfortunately, after the breeding, Sarah developed pyometra and we opted to spay her as that was best for her health.

Sarah the Show Dog

Sarah was only briefly shown (literally one weekend of shows). At the Detroit Kennel Club bench show in March 2006, she was Winners Bitch both days, and earned two points towards her championship.  This picture was taken right when we got Sarah and she was just learning how to be stacked, but it gives you an idea of her looks.

Sarah the Birddog

Sarah is a very birdy girl with a phenomenal point.  We have only taken her out on birds three times, and she’s already developed into a very intense hunter with a natural retrieve.  This picture is from her first time on birds with us (she had seen them one time before as a youngster).
