Our second litter to date was born March 31, 2008.  The litter consisted of eight puppies, two boys and six girls (pictured below).  We kept the Andre, August, and Guster and placed Amber, Layla, Lucy, and Miles.

We were planning to keep one girl from this litter for ourselves… but as Andre grew up into a handsome mini-Boone with the same charismatic personality, there was no way we could let him go. We had a tough time deciding which of the two girls to keep as they both had great qualities, so they both ended up staying. August took after her mom more in looks, and her dad more in personality. Guster is almost the opposite.

Amber (purple girl) went to live in Grosse Pointe, MI. She hunts and is adored by her two young girls.

Layla (yellow girl) lives in Saginaw, MI. She hunts and is also learning obedience and agility.

Lucy (red girl) and Miles (tan boy) both live in Okemos, MI. They are beloved pets.

Sadly, we tragically lost Queenie (orange girl) two weeks after she went to her new home in Oklahoma. She caught the deadly parvovirus and did not survive. This is a totally preventable disease with vaccination. She just wasn’t old enough to have had enough of a vaccine series when she was exposed to the virus. We will miss this little girl. She was a little sweetie and looked a lot like Lucy.
