About Arnold

We got Arnold from a local rescue group at about 4 months of age.  I had been looking for a rescue French Bulldog or Boston Terrier, and realized that we needed a younger dog to be able to fit in best with our household.  Arnold was from a backyard breeder that surrendered the litter to the rescue group.  Arnold had grown up in a kennel run and had not had much socialization when we got him.  He was scared of people, and it took months of building his trust before he actually liked to be touched.  He still is a bit unsure of being picked up, and will run around in a puppy frenzy so proud of himself that he survived when you put him back down.  Arnold is just awesome.  He fits in perfectly around here.  His best friend is obviously Bray, our Beagle.  Together, I’ve dubbed them “the midgets” or “Batman and Robin”.  But, both of them play with the big dogs and our not intimidated in the least.  And one of the great things about being small, is they can find a spot in any dog bed, no matter how many dogs are already in there! Arnold adores Killian too.
