Our Current Spinone litter for 2010
We recently bred larch to her new brown roan mate Blue Del Caos of Rio Wisconsin. Blue is a beautiful boy with substance and a great personality to boot. We shall see if the breeding takes and if all goes the pups will be due approximately on 10-29-2010. The litter should be half brown and white puppies and half orange and white puppies. We will be taking deposits for the puppies eventually and will let you know when we will be accepting them. If you have interest in this litter be sure to email me at kyle@birdsborodogs.com. Thanks and enjoy the pictures pedigree for blue below! Pedigree for Ch Blue del Caos

If you are interested in our Pointer litter, contact Erin Horan DVM at (517) 648-1666 or ehoran81@yahoo.com. Be sure to check out this whole webpage as we have a lot of information about the litter on here. Brett and Tartan Litter Birdsboro chose to breed our own Brett (look at our dogs to see her webpage) to Tartan, officially known as Ch. Marsh Run Tradewinds Tartan, as the sire. The puppies were born on 5-14-2010 via c-section and there are: two orange and white boys, two black and white boys, three orange and white girls and three black and white girls. There are a few puppies still available. Below you will find the most recent updates to the litter, as well as a link to all previous updates to the litter, the pedigree for the litter and pictures of Tartan. As far as the specifics about our puppies, they are all healthy to the best of our knowledge (no umbilical hernias, all bites are currently correct, all testicles are down, no defects noted, etc). They had their dewclaws removed at three days old. They have started their vaccine series, and have been started on heartworm preventative (Heartgard Plus) and flea preventative (Frontline Plus). They have also been dewormed multiple times (at 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 weeks). The puppies are also all microchipped with AVID microchips. We also have started the pups on housetraining (they have been using a litter box with pine shavings while indoors with 100% accuracy since 6 weeks old!) and crate training. The crate training is going phenomenally well with no accidents overnight. The pups have also learned to come to a whistle, and as they get older, we will work on other commands with them. We do our best to send our pups home as prepared as possible for their new homes. As Erin is a vet and we are both avid dog trainers, you are also welcome to contact us at any time during their lives for vet or training advice. Updates as of 8-27-2010 Introducing the “Movie” Theme Litter at 14 weeks… aren’t they just lovely! And they have wonderful personalities to fit those cute little faces too. Here’s the list of pups that are still available and their associated pics. A lot of puppies have gone home since we last updated this page. Have no fear though, because there are still two puppies left! To see pics of some of the puppies at their homes don’t forget to check out our blogs category “Birdsboro Owner’s Group”. If you are interested in a puppy from this litter, please contact us and we will be happy to talk with you about our dogs, send you our puppy questionnaire, and hopefully set up a time for you to visit with us and our dogs if you are able. Please note that since all of our dogs are housedogs, we only have so much space in our dog family – thus, we are very interested in placing some of the best show and/or hunting prospects in this litter with other families. Definitely contact us if you are interested in showing (even if you are a beginner) or are interested in a performance Pointer. While you are patiently waiting for updates on this litter, please check out our “Previous Litters at Birdsboro” page to learn about how we raise our puppies, and see pictures of puppies from previous litters. |
