Puppies

Litters are only bred occasionally at Birdsboro, as I only breed in hopes of producing a Pointer for myself that will help me in my endeavor to better the breed.  Puppies are raised in our home with plenty of care, love, and training to give them the best possible start.  By the time they are ready to go to their new families, Birdsboro puppies have had plenty of love and attention, as well as exposure to the real world and some basic puppy training.  They have started to be crate-trained, know the beginnings of the basic commands (to come to a whistle and lay down) and have had ample socialization with people and children of all ages, as well as a multitude of adult dogs, cats, and other puppies.  Puppies are taken anywhere and everywhere including the local ice cream stand and pet stores.  They are also taken off-leash at an early age at the local conservation and wildlife management areas where they have a chance to run, play, and swim with adult Pointers.

Please contact me to inquire about Pointer puppies. I would be happy to discuss the breed and, if we currently have a litter, the pup’s individual temperaments with you to see if you would be a good match for each other.

We are pleased to announce our highly anticipated 2008 litter.  It has been five years since our last litter.  This litter will be out of Brett and Boone.  Puppies are expected around April 2, 2008.  This means puppies will be ready to go home in early June.  The litter will likely be all orange.  We know that Boone carries for lemon, and there is a 50% chance that Brett does.  If Brett does carry lemon, then we can expect about 25% of the litter to be lemon and white and 75% to be orange and white.  If Brett does not carry lemon, then it will be an all orange litter.  The litter has a stellar background in health, temperament, conformation, and hunting ability.  Both parents also smile, so there's a good chance puppies will!  These puppies will be amazing family members for anyone who is lucky enough to get one.  They will be able to compete well in the show ring or be your hunting buddy if you so desire, but that is not expected.  More will be posted about our 2008 litter soon.
