Litters and Individual Dogs

Planned Pointer Litters For 2026

We have three litters planned for 2026, but realistically expect one to two litters to take.

Litter #1 – Birdsboro Knuffle Bunny “Arley” x Luigi del Galeazzo “Luigi”. This litter is expected to produce 25% each of black and white, orange and white, black, and orange.

Litter #2 – Franzini Gianna “Gianna” x Birdsboro Woodstock “Woodstock”. This litter will be all orange and white. Based on pedigrees, we anticipate heavily marked puppies. This litter will have a 3/4 Italian pedigree.

Litter #3 – Birdsboro Good Time Charlie “Tuesday” x Birdsboro Sasquatch “Jude”. We attempted to breed Tuesday once previously (to Jude’s son, Ivan), and the breeding did not take. Jude has had several litters, so this will be our second and final attempt at breeding Tuesday. It’s uncertain if this litter will happen, but we are certainly hoping it works out. This litter would be expected to produce 25% each of black and white, orange and white, black and orange.

We are roughly expecting puppies born in May, which would mean puppies going home July/August. Once the girls come in season, we can give more specific dates.

For puppies flying in cabin, they can go home at 8 weeks (because Pointers quickly outgrow the in cabin carriers). Otherwise, we typically send puppies home the weekend after they turn 9 weeks old.

If you are a new family, please fill out our Puppy Questionnaire (which can be found below) if you are interested in a puppy. It helps us keep track of all of our waiting families. You can wait to send in a deposit until closer to puppies arriving.

If you are a returning Birdsboro family, just reach out to us to add you to our list. Let us know if you have a color and/or sex preference, but you do not need to fill out the Puppy Questionnaire. We already have half a dozen of you on our 2026 list. 🙂 Feel free to check in with us to confirm you are on our list if you think you are supposed to be.

Getting Puppies Home. We have many amazing, loyal Birdsboro alumni families throughout the U.S. (and of course new families out there too). We partly chose our new place knowing that it was just an hour from the Seattle (SeaTac) airport and two hours from the Portland, Oregon airport. The Pacific Northwest is stunning and makes for a great vacation. So, if you want to take a little trip out here to get your new family member… it will be well worth it. If you would prefer the help of a flight nanny to get your puppy home, we will do our best to make that happen. Pointer puppies are the perfect size to fly in the cabin with a person at 8-9 weeks (and then it gets a bit trickier), so keep this in mind.

Meet the 2025 Keeper Puppies!

All our our 2025 puppies have gone home. 5 of the 9 puppies went to Birdsboro Alumni families (who all happen to be in Michigan!), 1 puppy went to Seattle, and we kept 3 pups.

Here are our keeper three from our “Pacific Northwest” themed litter, born June 12, 2025:

Birdsboro Salish Sea “Sal” (lemon boy)

Birdsboro Rainier “Cherry” (liver and white girl)

Birdsboro Huckleberry “Otter” (liver boy)

We will update with puppy pictures here as soon as our 2026 litters arrive. But, please be sure to check out our Facebook page (no Facebook membership required) as we often post updates there.

Puppy Pricing

Our Pointer Puppies are $2200. This includes a veterinary exam, puppy vaccines that are up to date for their age, a microchip with lifetime registration (at no additional cost to you at any point), and a welcome home bag (with a blanket, collar, stuffed animal, and a starter bag of Canidae All Life Stages Multi-Protein). We also include a lifetime of support – this means help with behavioral and veterinary questions. We take our puppies back at any time in their lives for any reason.

Forms of Payment: We accept cash, check, money order, Venmo, or PayPal for the initial deposit. When picking up your puppy, the balance due must be paid in cash for new families. Alumni families can pay in any form.

Interested In A Puppy?

We are happy to talk to you about our Pointer breeding program. For every litter, we make our best efforts to match the best puppy to your criteria. We don’t formally match puppies and families until 7-8 weeks based on family sex/color preference, temperament, conformation, lifestyle (hunting, pet), etc. For this reason please see the important information about our breeding program.

If you are interested in a puppy, please download and fill out our Puppy Questionnaire and/or contact us at 517-648-1666 or ehoran81@yahoo.com.

Individual Dogs

We occasionally have an individual dog that is looking for a wonderful family. These are dogs that we absolutely adore (and are completely happy if they live out our lives with us), but that we feel would do very well in a typical family setting if the right home is interested. We have found that our retired dogs do best in homes with at least one other dog. Currently, we do not have any individual dogs looking for homes.

Please see the Individual Dogs page for more information.
